Whether or not the footwork or technique was perfect, the dance elicited an almost visceral reaction. For me at least it evoked an almost abusive relationship, with Christina the women fighting to get away but constantly drawn back in by this charming, smooth man with aggression bubbling just under the surface. Even now I get the same reaction every time I watch it. It was simply an awesome dance.

The important things are passion, embrace and emotion. The movements will be depended on the music. And it's seen on this video. Maybe Kristina made the choreographs because this type of the song. Len Goodman is the professional dancer here. And if he said it's the best that means this is really the right dance with the right music and the right choreographs. Sorry but the video you showed me only showed the movements and embrace no intense emotions there.

Overall, I liked it. For the first part it did look like he was just walking around the stage, but as the music got more dramatic, so did the dancing.

I think he captured the essence of the dance perfectly. The Argentine tango story is that the man desires the woman and at first she resists. He persists and keeps chasing her and she eventually falls for him. The man needs to appear sharp, sexy, clean and passionate. So I thought he did an excellent job!

I thought it was really great! It was the 2nd best Arg. Tango i've seen on strictly! (Harry's was my fave) This dance is not as bad as people say it was and it takes 2 people to dance so everyone who says Christina is doing all the work you're wrong!

That was probably the most accurately choreographed Arg. Tango I have ever seen so far in this series, more towards Tango Nuevo though, than Tango Salon(Tango Salon includes the classic Arg. Tango steps, while in Tango Nuevo there is room for improv). Many of the pro dancers think that you dance the Arg. Tango just like all other dances, with poses and technique, but in reality, it's a far more interactive dance between the couple, and, more importantly, no stiffness is required!

He is so overrated, he's good but not good enough to be in the final. This is probably the only good dance I've seen him do but the finalists should be the ones who have been good throughout the competition, not someone who cant really dance. Holly deserves it more but I guess jason is more popular, it's sad that these competitions don't always come down to the talent but how much of the public like them/

Wow was it just me or was I the only one on the edge of my seat holding my breath. Out of this world and by far the best dance on the whole series this year. This and Nicole Sherzingers Argentine Tango on Dancing With the Stars are both stand out for me.

There is such a thing as putting too much emotion into a dance and losing control. Kristina did a great job with the choreography, but like his samba I felt Jason thought too much about giving an emotional performance that all technique went out the window...just look at how odd his heel slaps look. 9s maybe, but definitely not worth 10s

To people saying this is creepy, this dance is supposed to be a battle between a woman and a gaucho who would have been possbily a violent man. Nowhere near Kara's and Artem's tango. Kristina's dress was too short and she was trying too hard to cover Jason. I don't understand why so many people liked it. It was mediocre. Please, have a look at Karen Hardy and Mark tango's and as I said Kara and Artem are fantastic indeed!

It got a 10 cos there was no way of it going wrong for him. She did all the work, there was no intricate leg choreography in this at all. It was by no means a difficult routine. He has to be credited on his acting though, looked crazy.

I know it looks effortless but it must've taken ages to get spot on. Kristina is a very hard worker and hers and Jason's spectacular timing to the music was flawless. Every gesture, movement, facial expression and step is perfectly executed with intensity, mood and precision. Bravo to them both.

To be honest I was so distracted by Kristina it didn't really matter what Jason did! But watching it again I really don't think it was that good. He didn't do very much, apart from look like he was going to kill her and those kicks he did on his own looked aweful!!!

Harry's was 10 times better. Don't hate me!!! Just saying what I see.

Although he it appears that he didnt do that much, he actually did a lot, the timing 2 grab her at the right time at the right place, the control thru the whole dance and the impressions.It is not easy at all!!! It is a lot more difficult to take control when you have less steps! it requires double concentration n practice

Whether the technique is perfect or not, I was utterly mesmerised. It's your right to voice an opinion but it's the first dance of the series that's made me go 'wow' and in that respect deserves some recognition IMO. Harry did a great job too but this was, somehow, dirtier for want of a better word. It did it for me technique or not.

Yes, Jason had just a week to learn the dance but, for starters, his posture was bad and the ganchos were very average. The scores are strange because others have done better in previous rounds, but scored lower (i.e. Harry). Hmmmmm....

As an Agentine Tango dancer for 11 years, and teacher for 6 years, I belive that this dance was full of poor technique. Please don't let the acting skills distract you from sloppy technique including lazy footwork and poor posture from both of the dancers. The judges scores reveal a fundamental lack of knowledge about the dance. A travesty.
