GCSE's prove very little these days, in my day, we had O levels and CSE's, the CSE's were for the less academic students and were incredibly easy, and the Olevels were harder. Given that the GCSE was a compromise between the two, they are much easier than O levels, also based on continuous assessment as well as a final written paper, so it was easier to just copy information from the internet and be credited for it.

I'm not impressed by GCSE's anymore, or the mickey mouse uni courses available.
