i have a lot of education and training on dementia patients. and ive showered them also.
and i can tell you 1thing. they do have abusive behavioral in showers.
some do get over the mean behavioral after a few times with the same person, but again some remain the same abusive behavoiral no matter what. and we just let them do their yelling and screaming, makes us do the shower quicker. then they relax after its all over. offer them cookies and milk..lol. and then we relax.
