0:32 I have that same water bottle, and that's a bad idea. Those springs are naturally carbonated, so pressure builds in the bottle, and you get splashed all over when you open that bottle.
manitou is amazing. what always gets me is that it is soooo historic. ive seen a lot of tings in this video. and i drank the water. nasty. it tastes like watered down soda. (i guess that is why they call it soda water)
I miss that place. I grew up in Colorado Springs since I was born then left when I was 9. I remembed going to Manitou as a child and buying rocks and crystals. Going into the gift stores, going through this arcade, and buying salt water taffy, then going to the park. Ah, Colorado is so beautiful. I can't wait to go back someday.
I love Manitou. It's where I grew up. I love the friendly, creative people that live here. It's so alive and real. Manitou is so laid back. I love the beauty andI love that the people are down to earth.
Stay away from this ugly place... bunch of Meth heads and ugly Subaru driving fucks... could be a cool place if they drove out the libs... stinky nasty ugly people... I lived there and couldn't get out fast enough... yuk!
its kind of hidden and you have to hike to get to it.
If you are driving down the pass, the first exit into manitou you'll see a creek down over the bridge you are driving on to the left, if you follow that creek up towards the pass, the falls are located right below the highway. To actually get TO the falls, the easiest way is, on the side of the highway theres a white sign that says something about property of colorado do not tresspass or something and theres several large rocks and boulders
that you must climb down and once you're down there, you will reach the falls. I hope those directions made sense, you can Google "Raibow Falls of Manitou Springs" for further information
Manitou is the best :D and the best part is I live in downtown CO Springs so I can go there pretty much anytime.
