One of only a handfull of good tracks on this album - but then, those four or five are REALLY good. The album is let down by the songs where Kim sings, especially. Usually I'm all for her as a vocalist. SY are entitled to a slightly shaky album once in a while...!

Watching this brings back memories of seeing Sonic Youth when they were promoting this album. A Thousand Leaves is a beautiful, classic album.

hits of sunshine is the best "non-existing" song ever written. it's a beautifull universe they've created for allen ginsberg.

This video was filmed in and around Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Leah Singer's family lives here, I believe. 

Groovy city. Sonic Youth haven't played here, interestingly, although they could fill a stadium here, as post-punk and various other punk influenced genres are very popular here.

love being the first comment on here. I swear if not for "A Thousand Leaves" i probably wouldn't go to work, which doesn't make sense but it does. This album didn't get the praise it deserved.
