fucking hell, you can't judge him as a person from just one 5 minute interview where practically everything he did was influenced by drugs, yeah he was very rude and out of order in the interview, but that doesn't mean you can just go around saying he's an asshole just from watching that interview. I'm surpised they never listen to their early stuff. Keith Richards from the Rolling Stones was known for spending many evenings alone at home listening to early Rolling Stones albums (many years later) and I'm sure other musicans do too. To me it would be like looking back through old photo albums, reminicing about the past. The Blur guys aren't fussed though. Graham Coxon said after they started doing the low-fi albums later on that he was a 'bit embarassed' if he ever heard the earlier stuff.
