mio pocket install on gps

I have Magellan RoadMate 1470.

1-can You please tell me after installing window you can use both i mean window and Gps features.

2-Do you really need to rename these three files (MioAutoRun.exe, MioAutoRun.mscr, MortScript.exe ) if yes, so what did you rename into?

3-if you need to uninstall what si the procedure and can you get the GPS operating back?

Please answer my these question i will really appreciate it.

What do u mean by removing the .exe and the .inf on the files? Do you mean deleting the .exe and .inf extension by litteraly renaming it?

@MetStarBomber if at the end of the name it says .exe you got to remove that so it is just the name of the file not the type

Hey question i have a roadmate 1200 And i tried installing v4.0 and wasn't working so i tried this version. i cannot get it to boot. it just loads as normal. any ideas.

i ended up changing the boot loader on the device. So i got v4.0 installed. now one problem is ... (example) I open the internet browser.. i know i have to have it plugged in via usb. So i have done that but as soon as i do that, the GPS says.. " The USB has been connected to the unit. Please follow instructions from PC application for updateing maps or software. And it is in USB>sync mode. Cant get of this screen to get to mio pocket.

@PatchNPro go to the tools screen on the gps and tap to left twice tap top right trice then top left once then top right once that should have a sync thing in there

@pawnsoljah can you still acsess the hd throught your computer will it link up or no if it will link up ill send you the miopocket exe or if u are running the 1440 i could send you the 1440 files
