@palindinX All shows get cancelled, with due to budget problems or lack of rating. I think Disney wanted to take a new angle. I hate the new angle so much, but all we can do is watch them online. I is sad :(

the formula was so simple for good cartoons back in the day( sound like an old man). Take a successful movie, make a catchy theme and some good stories an' BOOM you get people watching the openings on youtube reminiscing about the show

@elasmar1337 i wouldn't be as harsh as to say they lost their dignity in 2001, they still played quite a few good old shows on disney if you could catch them around the right time, BUT, you could say that they BEGAN to lose it in 2001-2002. still....sucks that shows like this aren't around anymore. i used to love watching t.v, now i can't stand it.

LOVED IT. It helped us imagine what Hercules went through throughout highschool since he started training with Phil when he was about 15. Though, in the movie he doesn't know Hades in the movie until he's grown up. *shrugg* It was still good.

One of the memories I had with this show was, in the morning, the UPN station in my city would air a 2 or 3 hour block of cartoons (8am-10am is all I remember). Hercules ran at 9am. Anyway, like most kids, I detested going to school (elementary), so I'd fake being sick. One morning I just stayed in the only extra room we had, which had a big television and watched this show, hoping that my mom wouldn't pressure me into going. I was lucky. I think of that moment/day when I think about this show.

@LunarIceWolfRaver Not to defend Disney, but it was the audience that let you down. Herc was a huge flop when it debuted, so much so that it was pulled from syndication in the middle of the week!! and repalced with Pepper Ann.No one got the jokes and everyone hated the myth mistakes.

Herc the movie was 60 million for 90 minutes{or whatever it was} versus 30 million for 65 hours of TV series.Plus, the shows is desighned in California but animated overseas in Asia, so you are automatically getting second tier quality.

I have recently got a Sky HD subscription again (after a year of absence because it was too expensive) and I was looking at the TV to see if Hercules was on DisneyCineMagic, but they don't show this anymore! My sister and I were very sad, we can only watch Lloyd In Space (the only decent Disney cartoon showing) at 11 o'clock at night! I used to watch Hercules on Fridays after school, but that can't happen anymore!
