pteranadons are different.

pterosaurs is the name of the species of flying reptiles that pteranadons and pterodactyls belong to. basically pterandons and pterodactyls are both different menbers of the same species.kinda like a lion and a tiger are alike and different but are both wild cats.

the pterosaur in this set is a pteranadon,one of my favourites =)

I'm 13 and I learned about Pterodactyls, but Pterodactyls and Pteranodons and the same thing. Also, I think it would be cool if there were two minfigs, one in the control center and one on the net gun. Awesome review! I really like the Dino reviews!

Teronadons and teradactles are very similar flying reptiles. The aren't even dinsaurs but where alive at the same time. However the more correct term would be Teradactle.

Ok as a dinosaur expert, A pteranodon is a class type. It is a sort of nickname for the flying reptile species of the time. But there is a reptile in that class named the pterodactyl. But pteranodon is a vague name for the type of animal. So that dinosaur in essence could be called a Pterodactyl.
