Still have my droid and still love it. If I could take it apart and just update the processor I would keep it forever. Getting a droid charge soon. I want the razr but it's either free droid charge or 300$ razr. Anyways. It was an amazing groundbreaking phone and it paved the way for some great new phones. In 2 years the razr maxx will be a dinosaur piece of crap. Smartphones have 90 day shelf lives. No joke.

This phone is still amazing. Still using it, Yesterday it was dropped 2 floors to hard cement on accident.. I was devastated but i thought it was time for me to upgrade finally.... But no... phone has a dent at the bottom where it says verizon and kinda scratched up at the top.... But still everything works no cracks on the screen or anything without a case, ever. Who needs to wast money on cases if your phone is made out of quality... im sticking with Motorola for a LONG time.

Honesty and truthfully this device isn't all that great. On a scale of 1-5 I'd give it a 3 1/2. The picture quality that it gives out sucks, the way you have to set you're wallpapers suck, the battery life sucks, and call quality was pretty sucky too. I also hate when you're doing something important, and your finger accidentally hits the touch sensitive buttons at the bottom. I find myself doing that a lot. The keyboard is very cramped and you'll often find yourself making many errors.

I don't know about the Dtlroid itself, but I have handled a few droid phones and my opinion is that anything running Android os is bullshitting. Alot of the phones now have 1GHz processors with HD cameras and what not so I don't think it's fair to compare Droid with Iphone4. Not that anybody here is I believe. Just think the droid lineage deserves a little more credibility. Going from less than 5-25% of smartphone market in a year and even apple admits it. There's serious potential here.
