@TheSfrfilms Parks are abandond for many reasons, sometimes it a natural disaster, sometimes they just close and dont tear it down

@crazyforcoasters I guess the reason they don't tear down abandoned amusement parks is sometimes it's cheaper to just leave it to nature then redevelope it. Example of this is in Japan, it amazes me that so much stuff (most of it outdated) is just left behind when business fails. I explain more in my other post

@TheSfrfilms Amusement Parks fail, because 1) they were built during heyday of an economic bubble- meaning business is good for a while, 2) parks receive sometimes overgenerous loans from low-scale cheap shady banks 3) when the bubble collapses the bank collapes because it doesn't have enough cash to keep it afloat presumely giving out too many loans, so they falter and the final blow is delivered to the amusement park and 4) sometimes poor location/planning

@TheSfrfilms that first park is in the city near chernobyl power plant where the workers lived, after the nuclear accident in 1986 the all city was abandoned because it was inside the radiation exclusion zone. people left in a hurry and leave lots of stuff behind. nowadays the radiation levels are low and you can actualy visit the workers compound and hospital and a lot of stuff in the exclusion area

It's so sad that that those parks once used to be a fun family get away now left abandoned and falling apart. :c I heard about one park in the Ukraine was built in the 60s and suppose to open the day after the accident took place. When the accident happened the night before, the newly built park is now left abandoned and never seeing the light of day of being opened.

@samuelwrssships Some are either victims of the economy, (developed during boom years only to fail once bubble economy bursts), some because of taking out loans from small-scale cheap banks that eventually collapse, when they do collapse, theme park managers cant afford to keep the park operating, whatever assets, (rollar coaster, office furniture, vending boths, etc they let nature take over as probably too costly to redevelope it

@tily1212 Dadipark @ Belgium, closed in 2002, they say its haunted cause some children died in the park and some accidents happened at the entrance of the park, most of them with children. A kid has also lost 1 of hes arms on an attraction in the park..
