theres some video on youtube of a new edge runnin twin turbos and stage 1 cams makin over 500 at the wheels i believe. i agree that its not safe at all and will eventually break but it can b done.
Very nice man. MY n/a 02 GT dyno'd in at 306 hp but I just ordered a V-2 SQ trim today. Did you install it yourself? I also have comp cams and EVERY bolt on. I'm hoping to get the same #'s you got but w/ around 9 lbs of boost.
When you say stock block you aren't referring to the bottom end are you? I keep reading where you need to replace the pistons and rods with cast iron or the stock ones will fail. This has kept me from modifying my 2003 like this.
nope, no gt is gonna make 500 at the tire with stock rods and pistons. its been proven time and again that the optimal limit of the stock rods and pistons is 500 at the crank, roughly like 420 or 430 at the tire. if it is true, congratulations, you have the only new edge in existance to make this much power on all stock internals
I don't remember seeing you at the dyno that day, oh right..... you werent there. If you HAVE ANY DOUBT AT ALL, call my tuner, ask Pete what the highest stock 2V GT is. He'll tell you what you wanna know. Seriously, I'm not into BENCH RACING, and I'll never see you in person - I really don't care if you don't believe it, but make the call if you're suspect. I'm confident, and not a Bull-Sh*tter.

It actually made 474, I'm pretty sure there's a vid showing the car make 467.... I'll look for it. The car's going back to the dyno with a smaller pulley very soon. STAY TUNED!
Still with stock heads? That's pretty darn good. Now I wish I went for the Stg3' instead of the 2.5's. I'm hoping for 580rw with every bolt on. and 15-16lbs.

The air/fuel ratio was pretty scary...really close to being catastrophic. Awesome numbers though and the Stang sounds killer!

VT stage 3 blower cams. Vortech V2 SQ at 10#'s (for now), Bullit intake, stock block and heads.
