How do the polls of which he talks proven to be accurate? Who are they taken by? What locations? There is no proof and even if Mousavi won it would mean little difference overall. It is much more plausible that all this talk is part of a typical propaganda campaign by the west to undermine support for the Iranian government. What really concerns me is the violent reaction of the government towards the protesters. The reaction is no that of a confident government which has just won an elections.

TRUTH: Mousavi is an ethic Azeri. The provinces of East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan were split: One went to Mousavi and one went to Ahmadinejad. However, a think tank known as "Terror Free Tommorrow" (results can be found on the internet) found that Azeris favored Ahmadinejad 2 to 1. Western media seems to think Iranians choose their leaders based on "tribe" rather than merit.

Iranian election myth #1: The votes were counted too fast.
TRUTH: There were 39.2 million total votes. There were 45,713 ballot boxes. That means there were 860 votes per ballot box. With 1 person counting each ballot box, it would take only 3 hours to complete the count. The ballot itself only asked the voter to choose a Presidential candidate. Therefore, each vote could be counted very quickly.

You've gone too far. I myself am part of the green votes but I never saw Islam part of this. Khamenei is different than Motahhari. Of course there are bad muslims but why must the good ones pay for their unjust acts? Mousavi is a muslim, Montazeri is a grand ayatollah, yet he was a very harsh critic of the goverment and the regime.
My point is that unfortunately all the good ayatollahs and good politicians have been killed by Mojahedin-e-khalgh or been demoted by the bad ones like Montazeri.

Please do not tell me you believe one reporter that is basing his facts from Iranians in the United States. I've skimmed through it and only read hints the reporter gives us on how the election works. Who can count that many votes in such a short time anyways?

Instead of skiming, you should, perhaps, peruse. Then you would have read that the ballots are counted, and electronically recorded, at the polling sites. There are 500-800 ballots to be counted, that doesn't take more than a couple hours.

They way they conduct the election in Iran is so far from the standards adopted by Western countries and it is definitely open to fraud.

I understand where you are coming from that there are two sides to a story. But I believe that the election was rigged. I've read and listened to my research and choose to believe what I believe.
The Iranian government has shown me that they do not know how to deal with demonstrators civilly. Its hard to believe they weren't rigged by they way they reacted by trying to keep everything quiet and out of the spotlight.

However to the surprise of Iranians and the world the two moderate candidates combined (Mousavi and Karoubi) received 13.5 million or less than 35% of eligible votes which was one percent less that the percentage that Rafsanjani obtained in the last boycotted election! In other words all the new 11 million new voters which represented 28% of the votes are claimed to have voted for Ahmadinejad!!

Why was Khatami, who is far more "liberal" than Mousavi, allowed to win in a surprise landslide in 1997 over Nateq Nouri? Why did the Guardian Council not rig the election that year? Why not, when they can and do interfere with the "freedom" of the "democracy" at every turn? How was this election any more skewed than any of their others? There was far more evidence that Bush was shoehorned in and the same media machine fell silent.
