@pogomaniac123 yes I like it. it is easy to use, you can't feel the difference if the camera is on your helmet or no, the movie quality is good but as I saw GoPro had better movie quality. now I'm trying to reconfigure my cam (bitrate, contrast, etc), maybe now it will be better also. btw it is a good cam, I recommend it!

I think this is a PERFECT test.  I love seeing the gauge cluster.

This is a good cam, but this application is poor. The footage is looking through the dark windscreen and it completely voids the cameras resolution and color. If you want to make any kind of usable footage you have to mount the camera on the top of your helmet so you are not looking at the front tire and through the console. Finally, if you wanna post a vid of your Busa, try ridin the damn thing. Take it to some open road or even a twistie, but don't split a lane in third gear and try to act

hi, I used 'mencoder' or 'ffmpeg' to convert .mov after I edited the video.

my operating system is linux like these tools also!

oh wow. I'm in NJ, US and i'm getting tired of winter. I wanna go riding. Look on the vholdr site at the forum. Some guys show how-to's on muffling the mic a bit so you can hear other stuff besides just wind noise :)

What sort of mount did you use mate? It's a cool point of view, would be great if you mix it in with a bit of head cam too.

I'm looking at getting this camera for my bike as well....I'm curious about the audio distortion. Any idea as to the cause or maybe how to correct it?

the audio distortion is caused by the wind some people put tape other there mic to stop it

the audio distortion is not caused by the wind, it is caused by the engine resonance. i'm sure this is not problem if you would like to use it on your bike! check the vhold (dot) com site. there is offical sample onboard (bike) video and a lot of other bike video uploaded by the users in the community part of the page

if you would like to use it with your motorcycle, then it could be fine also, just depends on the mount kit what you use.

yes, but it was reconverted to mpeg4 before uploaded...

I have asked this because there is an evident rolling shutter effect (is the "sway" that you see in the video when the motorcycle vibrates more than usual).

This effect usually occurs when you record in hd mode but my doubt (and question) is:

Is this phenomenis also evident in standard recording mode? Please can u record another video with the same mounting mode but recording in std mode ?

megnézve más tesztvideókat ezzel a cam-al itt a legjobb a kép! Ezt hogyan csináltad??, a többinél nincs ilyen szép kép. Am másoknál is benne van a rezonancia pl a mountainbike-os srácnál nagyon lehet hallani ;)
