Just so you know, this piece wasn't arranged by Kaoru Wada--none of the Piano Collections were. This one was arranged by Natsumi Kameoka. All of the Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections (including Field & Battle) were arranged by either her, Sachiko Miyano, or Hiroyuki Nakayama.

The beginning of the piece really reminds me of Rachmaninioff's piano concerto 2. Almost spitting image of it.

@L4RSLink im sure most of it is because of how he recorded it - without proper recording setup, ESPECIALLY for pianos, especially on higher notes, you lose alot of depth to the notes making them seem superficial and harsh. however, i do say MOST - judging visually, hes not putting enough care into the notes, but seriously - when you're playing music like this, its easy to just indulge in playing it, so give the man a break =P

i must say though, it would sound amazing on a steinway

@L4RSLink I understand where you are comming form but there is such a thing as artistic licience. In my personal opinion (slander me if you will), I believe that if artistic interpritation isn't in a music piece then you might as well have a monkey or a robot playing it.

There's a fine line between E5 and E6, and I was rushing to get the sheet music done. Rushing meant cutting down transcription/arrangement time from about 50 hours to 30 hours, so pardon my sloppiness.
