How to get Mame for your mac!

This was a good video except for the part when it comes to playing the games. Right after you said "to prove that this works," I see you open the Mame program, click on your favorites tab, and the games are already there waiting for you. This doesn't happen for me, yet I've followed all the steps up to that point. I have all my roms in the location and in the folder you mentioned, but nothing seems available to play when I open the program.

Do you have any idea where you place the Bios files so I can play Neo Geo games? Theres no bios folder and either dumping in roms or creating a bios folder isnt working

@suspekt29 you have to make a separate folder called "neogeo" and put it in the roms folder, but dont put your neogeo roms in their. in the "neogeo" folder you make you put the bios in there. To find the bios just google "neogeo mame bios" or something like that.

@Kitsushika I did that, it didn't work. I was able to figure it out after I posted. It was just very frustrating considering I could play many NeoGeo games without the bios just not the one I wanted. SVC Chaos. Thank you though.

open your Downloaded rom and un-zip it and down load the neogeo bios and get the get the

sfix.sfx

000-lo.lo

sp-s2.sp1

sm1.sm1

and paste every game you have....Done tadaa you can play now

download the full set of game the folder should go to about 26 GB

and also checked the preferences for the ROM directory stuff

alright wat am I doing wrong, i cant put games on the rom folder and then click play on the mame to play the games... i downloaded street figher III and its like shiii3_usa.29f400.u2 I put that thing in the rom area, I then clicked the game in mame and it say files are missing see log for details. Okay, I think i got it, but i still don´t know how to get all the games to be on the "good" side, i tried getting some roms and i even audited all games, but none went to the "good" side.
