While baseball bats, and hammers, and swords work well for shutting down a zombies brain, do keep in mind that at that range you put yourself at risk for a nasty and life ending bite, or even getting spattered with zombie juice. Be sure to wear protective gear at all times if possible. Eye protection is a must.

Your goal is to keep yourself AT LEAST 6-10 feet away from a zombie at all time. While it is still unknown as to how the creatures came to be it is no mystery how you may become one. A simple fluid transfer is all it takes.
