Those look plenty vegged. Should fill in nicely when flowering. I too am using a 5 gallon DWC with a netpot and clay, growing a strain called CARNIVAL. It is a hybrid from spain. Using Foxfarm Grow Big for Veg and some AN CONNOISEUR for flowering. My roots are getting big but nothing like that so far. I am only on week 2 of veg in my DWC. Purple Kush should be a solid strain. When the buds are finished they look amazing. Hope you have good luck with the flowering.

@coveredinblood1111 Advanced Nutrients Connoiseur blend I hear is good. I'm planning on doing a head-to-head compairison next cycle between VitaGrow and A N's Conn.- As far as root health, I have been doing this for YEARS and have found that adding Vit. B-1 (w/Thrive Alive) is a GREAT supplement for overall plant health and root developement. Try adding 10 ml's into every 5 gallons of water you give your girls - You will thank yourself come harvest time. Keep growing bro!
