@Galutron Next 2D movie won;t be Princess Related well of coursse the next one is Winnie the Pooh but what I mean is a movie called King of the Elves Christmas 2012 it was going to be a 3D project but after the succes of Princess and the Frog they said they're going back to traditional animation

Being 24, I grew up with a bunch of the original Princesses and well, it was coming home. He sure did have that part down pat. Add in the fact that during the movie there were characters dressed up from other Disney movies and small tributes to their other classics like Aladdin and Little Mermaid, well, I just adored this movie and already pre-ordered it.

What do you mean "it's all about money"? EVERYBODY has to make money! Disney just happens to make incredible animated films (I'm referring to the classics) and because of that, deserve every penny (for the most part). Though they can be a bit of a bitch; they initially turned down Tim Burton's pitch for Nightmare Before Christmas, but when it became successful, they bought it. But hey - that's the biz; that's how things go in the film industry.

I think that Pixar is fantastic at 3D and Disney should leave 3d to them. Disney is known for 2d!

I remember when Disney was scratching its head going "why isn't 'Atlantis' and 'emperors new groove' doing well?" It was because of a lack of story & emotion. But they said it must be because its 2d animation.

The smugness in' Chicken Little is disgusting'. They assumed that just because it was 3D it would be as good as Pixar. WRONG.

As much as I love the Pixar films (and Bolt), I can honestly say that I'm really looking forward to the return of 2-D animation.

I'm a 21-year-old bloke, I love Disney and I don't care who knows. When the quality of their work started going downhill, I became very pessimistic sadly, but I've got this feeling that The Princess and the Frog is going to be the beginning of a better era.

The worst of the Eisner era is just a memory now... it's time to move forward.

That really reached out to me, I almost cried.

It really feels like that since there has been so little hope for Disney thanks to the crap they've been releasing. With The Princess and the Frog, I feel like that hope has been restored, but just a bit, we need to see the film in order to know if that hope has come back.

A trailer and the behind the scenes previews brought back the Disney spark, but the film will judge that.
