hi, i am a penn foster student, i start my program like 4 months ago, and before that i studied in another school and i made 10 credits, then, i have 10 credits already, i am 17 years old, those 10 credits that i did at the other school are added to the rest of credits that i have to completed or i have to start making all the 24 credits again? please answer my question

@KT12346 because in public high school you got to deal with BULLIES,MEAN TEACHERS,HARSH SYSTEMS,TEASING,FIGHTING,ETC. and in online high school we don't have to deal with that.

i just want to know if this is a legit school? and if the diploma earned here is the same as the one in real high school..also if i enroll how would i know when to take the test? do i take it online? if so what site?..and will they send me textbooks along with all the materials needed ?? @sliccflip Hey I realize Im late to answer with this one and sorry. I hope you found the answers you needed by now. Yes, this is a nationally and regionally accredited high school diploma. It works like this: you learn at your own pace. Once you understand your lesson you can take your exam and proceed. There is even an option to have all your materials sent in one shot (otherwise its an as you go thing).

ok so lets say i havent finished any year of high school...i only went 2 month of my freshman year... so what does she mean, by 9 months for each year? is it gunna take 24 months in total? or what, cuz she did also say, self paced, and i can work fast.....lol

@jess9006 She ment 9 months in total for the 4 years needed...so basically you can get it in 9 months from the start of the program if you work fast! very fast!

I graduated last year with my HS diploma from Penn Foster H.S..and i am now going to college for RN. It really does work.. and i paid less then 1000 dollars to get my HS Diploma. Im happy and satisfied so far. :)

im about to start this anyday now and its pretty exiting, but it still seems like ill get the cubic zirconia of highschool diplomas.

i mean technically its the same god damn thing, compressed and heated carbon/ paper & ink, but noone really cares you know.

I earn my High School Diploma and my Bachelor's Degree from Penn Foster and now I'm in Med School. Penn Foster School are recognize by the U.S Department of Education. Any one who tell you that Penn Foster is a shame, that person don't want you to go school thats simple.

I just signed up today, They mail your text books to you and you can trun the exams in online, over the phone or mail them, now some exams where you need to write you have to mail it or send it online throught the student website.

Some of my friends have gotten diplomas from this school, and have gone on to college. Actually you don't have to do hardly anything online. They send you the books, you read them, and you take the test. Pretty simple.You have the option of taking a test online (this way you get your score immediately), by phone, or you can send them in by mail. I attend this school. I would recommend it. It's not free though.

That doesnt even make sence. Why would the navy tell you to go get a GED and come back when you have something actually better!? An ACTUAL high school diploma!......doesnt make sence at all. I just started the HS program myself and am already a 2 time graduate from there career school center as it sets now. Satisfied so far!

I have to agree with you. I once was told by my teacher back then that I Was going to get a certificate of completion or Special Diploma. My mom told me what my teacher told me. I had to go for GED and spent a year, until I got into something about me. I found out I had a H.S Diploma and proved that my teacher was wrong! I graduated in 1991. I wasted my year at GED from 2007 to 2008. that's very shameful. I'm left behind! :-((

I don't know why they said that, but whoever said it made a mistake. Penn Foster High school is a real school that's accredited and licensed.
