Xbox360 can support 720p while PS3 supports 720p and some games manage to use 1080p. WiiU will support FULL 1080p ! So it definately is more powerful than Xbox 360 and PS3.

E3 2012- Since Nintendo is moving up to the next level then this means Sony and Microsoft have to get even so i think they will announce their new consoles and talk about the consoles new features & new technology possibly 1080P being the default resolution cause their might be a new resolution.

E3 2013- They will play some new launch games and then @ the end they will give an official price witch will probably be 500$ and the official release date witch will most likely be early December

Nintendo isnt much competition since they draw in a different crowd with their almost exclusively family friendly games. This means they wont affect either sony or microsoft on a huge level so I dont think 2012 will be a release date. Also many developers are paying the two companys to sit tight because they would have to rework their whole system in order to make a game. So Im thinkin that 2013 maybe a little early. Perhaps 2015. Thats my guess.
