I got 45 kills with the UMP and 48 kills with the MP5K but i use both of them.

The UMP and MP5K have the same damage. The UMP only does more damage at long range. Although the range technically is longer on the MP5k, the UMPs damage profile means that it effectively has no damage drop. Personally I like the MP5k, although I think the UMP is better overall.

This is misleading. The MP5K actually does way more DPS than the UMP45. The MP5K does more DPS than any fully-automatic primary in the game, making it put down enemies faster than any other. The UMP45 on the other hand, can snipe people across the map with cold blooded and a silencer so tons of people use it.

All guns have infinite 'range' except for shotguns in that the bullet will keep on travelling infinitely until it goes through enough surfaces or reaches an impenetrable surface.

The range stated in the gun's stats shows how far the bullet travels before losing power.

Also, the difference between the Red Dot and the Holographic is that the enemy has to be in the red area for the bullet to hit, giving you much more chance to hit with the holographic sight (also the FAL has increased damage with holographic sight). The Holographic sight also sits further back on your gun, so less of your gun blocks your view.

Holographic sight is better for spraying.

Red Dot is better for precision shots.

I think they shoulda made the damage according to class. In MW2 Strongest SMG with full on damage, and a Assault Rifle with same damage both are equal in power regardless of bullet size. But if the damage was arranged to class then Assault rifle is stronger because of the large bullet. If infinity ward had made the damage like the way i stated above the UMP would still be the strongest smg compared to the mp5 because of the calibre difference .45 APC vs 9X19mm parabellum.let me know if you agree

personally i like the Mp5k better, sure stats will tell u what the gun has but it depends on the player. I think the UMP wen it shoots kinda sounds too soft, and the mp5 is more of a thud. I also like the challange it gives me cuz of the lower accuracy. Also i like how i can quickly switch to my secondary (stinger) and take down enemy stuff fast

MP5K is an amazing weapon, I always use it in search, rush straight into the spawn and wipe out the whole team while they try to get the spawn snipe is amazing ;) here is my class for anyone who wants to try rushing: Marathon Pro LightWeight Pro Ninja Pro(to stop Heartbeat sensors and enemy team hearing you approach) MP5K FMJ Rounds (or Silenced) SPAS-12 Grip Claymore (Cut off your route) Stun Grenades (faster throwing than Flash) UAV CUAV Predator Missile. He says the MP5K is a gun for beginners and then to switch to the ump, thats bullshit the MP5K takes skill and you have to manage the recoil, the ump has no recoil and is easy to use. The ump45 is just like an assault rifle but it has the mobility of a smg.
