Thank you so much for posting this, I had forgotten about this story, and haven't seen this animation since I was very young. I was actually looking for the animation for The Rose and the Nightingale, which I do think was always shown with this story.

i read the story XD Its about a prince who onced lived and he felt bad that he was dancing in his kingdom while others needed help so he gave his Sappire eyes away,his gold,and his sword ruby.Then the bird kissed him and it died and then the princed lead heart broke and they mayor threw the bird away and the lead heart and then gods angels took them up to heaven!
