Britan was not able to control the big empire after WW2. and the British Gov. saw that there were no money in pockets of Indians that they could buy the british goods. and they had used most of the gold reserve of india to pay for war.if this would not have been the case then we would have never received independence. What Veersavarkar said was India was predominantly a Hindu country and wanted it be one. So when the Muslims said that was impossibe he forwarded the idea of 2 separate country for each. What Veersavarkar said was India was predominantly a Hindu country and wanted it be one. So when the Muslims said that was impossibe he forwarded the idea of 2 separate country for each. Both Nehru & Gandhi had their weakness.Nehru's weakness ws power woman & cigarettes whereas Gandhi wanted unity amongst 2 enemy nations. Nehru blackmailed Gandhi of making new party if he was nt elected 1st PM against Mr Patel who was much deserving candidate & won the internal Congress polls but ultimately bowed to gandhi's request who feared that all the efforts will go futile if Nehru would backstab d nation which he almost did. Later Nehru made sure that all cowards like him rule d Congress

Gandhji was born a Hindu. Please open up your minds and try to understand. If Gandhiji would have favored on the Hindus, how on earth would the Muslims have wanted a united India? Its basic sense. All of Gandhiji's efforts were to keep India United. I dont see anyone blaming Jinnah. He was the one who wanted Pakistan and not Gandhiji. Please research and try to put yourself in his shoes. Gandhiji was also just a human being like you and me.
