I remember every Nick bumper, commercial, Nicktoon, Snick show, game show, Nick at Nite show...it was just a great time to be a kid. M-F there was Nick Jr. in the morning, Nick in the Afternoon, and then Nick at Nite. Saturday was morning/afternoon cartoons and Saturday night Snick. Sunday was more cartoons, a couple of teen shows, and some game shows. There was something for every kid out there. Now it's full of Teens and Tweens for the new Nick to use as cash cows. There is 0 creativity now.

The teen soaps like Fifteen were good back then. The wannabe's suck now. It's all about designer this, rich kids that. None of the kids look like or can relate to anyone today. The cartoons (I won't dare call them Nicktoons) are way too safe now. The have no edge or wit like Rugrats, Rocko, Ren & Stimpy, etc. Nickelodeon is focusing too much on competing with Disney, when Nick was already worshiped as unique. What is the network afraid of?

I've been saying that for years. My one hesitation is to look at TVLand and GSN. Both of those networks were created specifically to show ONLY the classics, and over time, they've evolved to show very few of the real classics, and replaced them with brand news series' created by the network and by shows that are less than 10 years old. I'm very afraid this network would turn into the same. But...we would get to enjoy them all for another year or two!

The 90's for Nickelodeon was a great time. The network really went down. They need to have a network that shows nothing but classic NICK shows,from the beginning up until around 1998. The network went down around that time.

Isn't it funny how most commercials from Nickelodeon in 1993 broadcast kids products or Nickelodeon commercial (And the commercials are usually funny), but now they broadcast shit shows, unfunny shows also, stupid and unfunny commercials that don't have anything to do with Nickelodeon.
