I was prepared to hate "Prince of Thieves," but came away actually really enjoying it. Kevin Costner was a bad choice, but he pulls it off okay, and Morgan Freeman's character is a winner.  Naturally, Alan Rickman steals the show as the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham. It was simply another in a string of winning roles at that time (previously, he had starred as the evil - naturally - Hans Gruber in my favorite action movie ever, the original "Die Hard."

Jeff Lynne wrote that song but this video is from the BBC tv series which was produced after Robin Hood Prince of Thievs the movie starring Kevin Costner Mary Elizabeth Mastriano I have that movie on DVD but this video was put together from the British TV series so there you go everyone the video is ok,but the moera was much better than the TV series If you are a diehard Robin Hood fan you might enjoy the TV series it is available on DVD

Great video. I'm a fan of Prince of Thieves and this series (and Men in Tights too, LOL). Jeff Lynne who wrote the song for Prince of Thieves knew their subject. It's perfect.
