you have to follow the storyline but it's still a grat game and there are two times in game where you have to choose betwen two options.

Dark messiah has a multiplayer, nearly as good as the story. The only downside in the multiplayer are the effects, that were decreased.

You can..but oyur char has no head or arms, generally. Just open the the console with ~ and type thirdperson. Just don't be surprised that sareth has no face and arms :P

Source is a highly optimized engine, if Dark Messiah's levels aren't made by a complete Hammer newbie, then you shouldn't need much of a computer to play it on all high.
