damn i got 118fps at max and average was 59.20 something i'm using a 2 way sli gtx 260 oc maxcore 55 i was running everything all max out 8xx AA 1680x1050

Screen recorders usually drop my FPS.

So I would expect it dropped his too.

Granted, I'm only running 4GB DDR2, Phenom 9650, and a single 9600GSO, but still.

FRAPS can slaughter my framerate depending.

Or, it used to at least.

When I had 2GB DDR2.

I haven't tested it yet with my new RAM.

I recently bought a 30" and am now using a resolution of 2560 by 1600. With all settings maxed out and 4xaa i get an average of 78,82 (Minimum 48,50 - Maximum 165,38).

Like i said, you're right: nVidia rules over your ass too!!!

Yea nVidia is pretty good, even my aging 7950 GX2 is still kicking ass in DX9 games, can't wait until the 9800 GX2 comes

what's causing these micro-lags/stalls? I know it's not a problem, since it's very normal, but i'm wondering why.. even when VSync is in.

I have noticed them in the Benchmark and even in the game as well. I think it is a synchronisation problem wich only occurs in a Tri-SLI setup. What can i say? It's my loss.

I'm not so sorry anyway. I think the game itself is the disapointment of the year! I mean, instead of producing this game, why not directly write the book: "How to fuck up a perfect intellectual property"? The gameplay is so boring and the experience is so dull. I only admire it's technical achievement (the open world).

I've done some research, and found out it happends to even single gpu setups.

It's a DX10 problem, and can be solved by locking the FPS to fx. 40.

DX9 have no problems.

I agree with you. The gameplay sucks :(

lol my brother has 1 8800gt dont know about the rest but even on crysis he has a constant of 120 fps...

They did, but they also caused a disturbance in Crysis and Crysis Warhead. These are my ultimate favorites, so i couldn't allow it. I roled back to 178.24...

Man the guys of nvidia need to fix the lod (level of detail) is anoying sometimes, in far cry 2 I use gfx_lodscale 0.5

This game looks better than crysis and it literally runs like 5 times smoother. The only thing that makes crysis look better is some of the textures.
