@campinggear1 How funny is that! I've had this video up for almost two years and didn't realize until you said something that my Zippo was MIA!! May have to do an updated video! lol Cheers!!
@TheDudelikeCrackers lol....You're not the first to think that....lmao. Varga was actually a pin up artist who collaborated with Zippo lighters long ago to advertise for Zippos. Cheers and thanks for the laugh!!
@eddieispimp87 I did two reviews on the SOG Twitch XL. Check my videos. The first was initial impression and the second was after using it for some time. Thanks for the interest!
@bigrob911 That's my killer Fox Terrier Rachel. Her Brother, Ruben is a chicken, so he'll chime in, but when it comes time to face the demon.......he high tails it in the other direction..lol. Cheers!!
what i just noticed by watching your video again , is that with your keyfob the back of it ( the part that's behind your belt/against your body ) is way more curved than mine ?! your makes kind of a 45° angle while mine nearly has a 20° angle orso ... so probably your one has allot more tention on it than mine mine! , u think theres a way to bend it over , or did u bend it over yourself ? cause it's really strong/almost unbendable
@Taud Thanks Taud! You can get a medical alert bracelet that has a flash drive built into it now, which is another good way to carry your medical information. Thanks for the well wishes!! Cheers!!
that victorinox keychain/belt clip how old is it ? it's something i would love to have since carrying my keys always seems so hard with everything i carry inside my pockets, and this piece is awesome ! tough i searched victorinox website, and didn't see it there ....
@ZippoVarga i finally got the keychain i bought at the auction , cool and quality stuff and it's as handy as i tought it was going to be , thx for uploading it in your edc now i have the same cool item too it's deffinitly the most handy belt hanger i ever had ,especially compared to my bulcky carabiner , to all folks reading this i highly recomend it !!
@viniv20 Did you bend the tab back to make removing the keys easier? I absolutely LOVE mine and plan on ordering a spare soon just in case I lose this one. Glad you like it!!!!!
@ZippoVarga yes but not fully i can't get it done with my leatherman ... how did u do it ? or did u just use a tiny plier or tweezer ? , it's also quite stiff to do LOL , but indeed i love it and will be following auctions or sales on ebay in order to get me some more too haha :D
@Cflore001 Thanks Carlos! I like to keep room in my pockets for other than my every day carry items and I'm real happy with how mine has come together. Thanks a ton for the compliment on my EDC. I make tiny adjustments depending on the day, but those changes are only which vehicle keys am I stick with today...lol. Take it easy Carlos!!!!
best edc collection i ever saw..most edc videos a very boring or some guys just show a bunch of guns..but your edc is a smart collection of small easy to carry tools..i like this small 22 gun in it's cover..i like the keyrings and your idea with the medication bottle..nice video with great inspirations..thank you..but i forget to say..you should get a spyderco knife ;)
@uddoss As luck would have it........since that video, I've gotten two more Spydercos. The Honey Bee and Grasshopper were added when they were released to accompany the Bug. And I've been looking at others. One never knows!! lol Thanks very much for the high compliment on my EDC. I don't believe an EDC is ever perfect, which keeps my mind and eyes open for change. Again, thank you!!
@nmooney151 I used a Dremel with a cut off wheel and a steady hand. I would think a hack saw would yield the same results, or even a jewelers file. Good luck and thanks!!
@Cameronpetty93 Thanks Cameron. I need to do another update. A couple changes have been made to what and how I carry since finding out about the AOW from the BTAF and receiving an ultra compact ink pen. Look for a Winter Update next month.
@Zombies514 Thanks man.....I'd love to still carry that holster, but the bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms deems that holster illegal to carry, so I've switched to one of my MadHat holsters.
@SuperWestie100 They are known as a "AOW", which is federally regulated and not legal to carry. AOW stands for "Any Other Weapon" as described by the BATF. So I have since gone to a pocket holster where the holster remains in my pocket when I produce the firearm.
Cool video ZV. Can i ask where you got your monster pill bottle, the stainless steel one. I backpack and i also have health concerns. i love the idea of the sd card and i can keep my meds in something like that. it looks perfect for the job. Do you know if thats available in the UK or online? Cheers for that post. very informative.
@KittchenSink I actually got that bottle at a hardware store and the reason I got it was because it's not made of aluminum. The base metal is much more solid (chromium plated Brass.) I would try ebay. I am in the US and this bottle was made in China and imported. Best of luck to you on your search. I checked and found a couple on ebay and they are reasonably priced at around 3 dollars US. Glad you liked the Vid!!
@KittchenSink After doing the Vid I discovered that the pill bottle wasn't stainless when I scraped against a brick wall and took a little of the Chrome off that exposed some of the base metal brass. Sorry for the confusion on the material. Also, the suspension clip is Stainless and not Titanium as I had thought prior.
I did slightly modify the clip. The two pieces that make up the clip are made of different stainless steel. The portion that holds the keyring is ductile enough to bend the tab that prevents the removal of the keyring inward enough to allow the keyring to be easily removed.
Thanks man! Like I've said, it's always changing here and there, but I'm getting real close to the perfect daily EDC for my needs and likes. Appreciate the comment!!!
I pray that day never comes. They say that all the training in the world cannot prepare you for the actual event. I would defend my family with force if they were attacked, but I would probably give up my non worldly possessions to avoid bloodshed. I would only use force if I was or my family or friends were in eminent danger. It's peace of mind to know I can defend my self and my family if need be. But it's also scary to imagine using deadly force to protect them. Thanks Charles!!
It must take a little bt of worry off your mind having them on you.
I can honestly say I'd do pretty much anything to save my family and my closest friends in an instant. Im not a voilent person by any means, but when it involves family, I cant help it
Thanks Jason!! It's ever changing. I doubt it will ever stop with all the new items that come available almost daily. How do you carry and what do you carry? Do you have any EDC Vids? Thanks for the 5*s!!
I hear ya! Things are changing for the better, faster than I can keep up!! I'm happy with my set up right now. Everything is comfortable and easily accessed. No bulk any where and only my cell phone and current days keys hanging from my belt. Plus, I like that there are enough options, if you want a blue, black, red, gray, chrome, orange, yellow, green EDC set up, you can pretty much find everything you want to coordinate your daily carry. I love it!
I am enjoying it, I have found that now I have my ccw I bought a couple new knives, wallet hollsters and still keep my eye out for anything I think I would use. I dont carry medical kits or fire starter or extra batteries, but I think I should have a bug out bag just in case? It actually find all of this really fun and a great learning experience.
I put together my bug out bag about two months ago. I am still adding to it as ideas come to mind. Sure...it's about 35 pounds.....but it'll keep me and my family alive for a while. A bug out bag is a great idea for every member of the family. That way, if you're not home, the rest of the family is also prepared with their own. I'm with you...I don't carry a medical kit, but I do carry extra rechargeable batteries in my vehicles and acc. plug ins to charge them.
I do keep extra clothes and flashlight and stuff in my vehicle. I lived in northern MN for a few years and have been in the ditch in -20 temp in a white van and am glad I had extra stuff.
I keep an old #10 coffee can in each vehicle with emergency candle and strike anywhere matches in the winter time. Had to use one once and it really did help keep the inside of my truck warmer. A van, I wouldn't think it would as well. I need to do a video of what I carry in my trucks at all times. I'm ready for just about anything "typical" that may happen, like helping a stranded motorist, mechanical issues, tires etc.
I hope our present administration doesn't hinder our rights any more than they already have been. This holster may end up becoming a museum piece otherwise...lol.
