  • just wondering, if protein is not as important, why do you sell supplement protein powder on your website?

  • mygosh ur georgeous!! ooh an lota info for 3min. tks

  • spinach is 92% water, so if you completely dried it, you would increase its percentage of protein by weight from 2.2% to only 27.5%, nowhere near this mythical 45% figure. Also, it would be inedible.

  • Percentage of calories from protein. Actually it is 49%

  • @healthatarian

She didn't say that (2:50). She said, quite clearly, 'raw spinach is 45% protein' not '45% of calories from raw spinach is protein' the statement she made is utterly untrue, and wilfully misleading, as is most of what she says here.

  • @healthatarian

Humans can't digest plant fiber. So how can we get the protein contained therein? Seems to me it doesn't matter how much protein plants contain if we can't get to it. It's like when you lose your PIN, even if your account contains billions $, you can't get any of it. But the money in your couch doesn't require a PIN, so you can get 100% of that.

  • "raw spinach is 45% protein" Er, no, it's 2.2% protein, according to the USDA Nutrient database. Out by a factor of 20. I think that qualifies as bullshit...

  • @abdabzeebop2 The numbers used here are most likely from a drained state, kind of confusing yeah.

  • This girl is screwed up.

  • your cute

  • Thank you for exposing this myth. Whenever I tell people I'm a vegan the first thing they ask is "so how do you get your protein?" Now I can tell them the real deal on protein.

  • @jsoccerw87 Excellent video.
