Smash the Control Machine is as strong as anything they've done. Sure, the video is "a video". But the music still rocks and the writing is still great. Lateralus is a brilliant album, one of the best of all time. The albums before that were good. Their last one not so good.
Otep is great before watching UFC, and just great in general if you need an adrenaline kick.

Most bands get crappier with there new stuff due to high demand, but this particular song has given me a new love for OTEP, though I haven't heard the rest of this album. It is one of the best songs I heard in a wile...

Smash the Control Machine is as strong as anything they've done. Sure, the video is "a video". But the music still rocks and the writing is still great. I challenge you to write better lyrics and come up with a better groove. And, yeah, been listening to the band since the beginning. Bands either progress or die. Easy for intARnet responders to criticize while chillin' at their convenience store jobs.....
