Btw, Bucky, i wanted to thank you for all of your videos because they've helped me a lot. Thanks to your videos, I got a job as a PeopleSoft developer last week. I know you didn't teach PS, but all of your programming tutorials (Java, etc.) surely HELPED a lot. Once again, thank you!
Let me know what book you're teaching from word for word, so I can go check it out of my local library myself, I'm sure I could find more excitement among those dusty formulas than your voice. Ugh.
@KronicKillaz " Geometry is probably the easiest math there is." Are you fucking out of your mind? you have no clue what geometry is about do you? Masters/PhD level math is easy for him huh!
@electronikita I've done drafting as well as mechanical engineering which applies all types of geometry as well as algebra. To ME it is easy. No need to get so offended and get all angry....
@guest1754 Yes, the times we would use Algebraic Equation is making 3D models of an object (maybe a car part, screws, etc) and if we were to only elongate one section and not want to effect the scale we would have to apply it to different areas of the object.
@KronicKillaz I can't even begin to tell you what a silly person you are. I dare you to walk into math department of any university nearby and proclaim that geometry is easy TO YOU. Hope your post PhD studies go well =)))))
@electronikita Is all I proclaimed is that Geometry is easy...why are you talking about post PhD studies? My post PhD studies will consist of mathematics and science WAY beyond basic geometry like this. Actually all I did was state my opinion and you are doing anything to make an argument. You are a waste of a conversation. You're blocked and have a nice day.
Hi Man, Great fan of your software turtorials. I have one suggestion. If you could create different channels for your geometry, biology and software tutorials, it will most beneficial to us.
oh and i forgot to add... i hope these tutorials will get more complex as it has been so far
for example... there is basically no video tutorials (on yt) about tensor calculus, fourier analysis, cauchy residue theorem, millenium prize problems and such
all those topics are interesting and important in math/physics today
---
but im not sure, who is the target audience for thenewboston project
You can't say length of \overline{AD}. This is wrong. Correct would be:
1. The length of [AD]
2. \overline{AD}
The length hasn't got a length.
I agree with the others. You should really start with something more general. Video tutorial making isn't easy and takes much time. I know that myself. So don't give up, you will be doing great!
@jaketheman987 well if they sort the videos and make them a series, you could then sub to a series, and not have to worry about the other vids in your sub box.
I'm currently taking engineering calculus, but somehow I NEVER took geometry, so think watching these might be good for me. I do have a couple suggestions.
When you write, it kind of takes a long time. It's not easy to do, but with practice you will be able to start writing before you say it. I don't know if your using a mouse or a tablet, but just practice writing faster and it should seem more lively. Perhaps consider using a pen and paper with a camera.

Bucky has put a lot of time into doing this and getting it coordinated as with anything new, there will be some adjustments and some difficulties along the way. Just be patient everyone. Great job so far Bucky and staffers!!!!!
hey, loving the tutorials, they're great ! But I have one suggestion; on your channel, could you please create different playlists for each subject so its easier to view and find, and at the same time they could be classified in a neat manner :) Thanks
Omg i love your voice, but ya you should start of with the history of Geometry, just a little bit, then teach point, lines, and planes, and go from there :D
@Flee4me So they should just start at a random point? You always need to cover the basics first if you are shooting for a long series of tutorials.
And you realize he will be pumping out something new 24/7 now? He's going to make whole lots of tuts on different subjects. These tuts on math and biology are just an addition to his tutorials.
