I've had panic attacks for a month now, and my anxiety tends to get worse at one point every month. I haven't been able to get any type of help here where I live because I have no money I lost my job due to the panic attacks and now have a fear of traveling [be it by car, bus, train, etc] so my life has been really impacted! I'm going to try these things as well as others I've read about and hopefully they will work. Thank you for this amazing video. I am now confident in getting my life back.
@PeaceLuvVeggies You can do it, so happy to hear that you are feeling confident. Lots of deep breathing, letting go, and getting back in the flow of life. You are supported. :)
I have been in a deep depression where I had panic attacks every single day for about six months. The turning point for me was getting the courage to seek professional help, just talking about my feelings with an outsider really helped! No judging, and no do´s or don´ts, just listening and helping me in the right thinking-direction have changed my life dramatically to the better. I still go to my counselor, and it helps me keeping my mind on the right track.
Whew! I'm another who experience(d) panic attacks exactly the way you described. Some aspects aren't as bad lately, but some still are. I try to avoid situations that usually bring on the attacks.
This video is beautiful and filled with so many options. I can't wait to try some of them. Thanks so much!! -3
Great video. I have my valerian and passionflower on deck for when I feel frazzled. Two bags of chamomile tea also do the trick :) Thanks for sharing.
Wow, thank-you for this! When I saw it was 20 min. I kept putting off watching it, but I am glad that I did. I don't know that I have ever had what people call panic attacks, but I have anxiety and depression about 95% of the time. I am really interested in alternative methods of dealing with this as I have been on Paxil (an SSRI antidepressant) for about 11 years (and I am only 21 now) and REALLY WANT TO GET OFF OF IT! Do you have any suggestions for coming off meds like that?
@NicoletteLynnMusic thanks for sticking it out. Yeah, it was a long one, but there is a bit of info to cover. Sorry, I'm not familiar with medications or the side effects of coming off. Maybe check out a naturopath.
@NicoletteLynnMusic Yeah, I am looking into naturopaths in my area, trying to decide which one might be best for me! Thanks again! I love your channel!
I really appreciate you posting this Philip. I've suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for years. Breathing has helped me tremendously, but I will definitely try some of the oils and things that you mentioned :)
Awesome stuff Phillip! I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks. And your right. It is hard to talk to people who haven't experienced them. The valerian root helped me a lot and the breathing. I got Andrew Weil's CD on breathing and that was one of the biggest helps. Researching what was going on with me was what brought me to eating raw. I had so many dr visits and ER visits. They put me on this med and that med and I was frustrated with it all. I have more success with natural remedies
Yes, the first thing we must do is remove the caffeine, caffeine "works" by producing anxiety!
For those interested on the dangers of caffeine, there is an amazing book called "Caffeine Blues", you can find it at amazon.

Taking Passion Flower helped me, as well as St. John's Wort. I use Valerian to help me sleep. Peppermint and Camomile Tea helps too.
