@nicbenson93 Illustrator didn't have it until CS2 I was Using CS. I still don't use it though because a) I would need to spend much longer on the pencil drawing making the lines look just right etc and b) Because of the way it works, you can't select each individual line and colour it. Also When I made this I didn't know you could make custom brushes, which is what I do now.

How do you get the lines to taper like the wrinkles on his nose using the pen tool?

With the pen tool, you click where you want the line to start, click again where you want the line to end and drag to make a curve. Click back on the endpoint then click on the start point and drag to make another curve. You should now have a shape tapered at both ends like a fingernail clipping

Good inking process you have there using only a mouse!?

Did you use only the fill or also strokes? I couldn't see it's kinda fast. Thx!

Thanks. Yes I'm using just the mouse. Have a look at the tutorials section on my website (Google for :"Zengrenade") and also see my other videos one of which is shown at normal speed
