1) Do you contend the notion that people can and have suffered worse deaths than what crucifixion inflicts?
2) How do we know anything about a supernatural deity? Christians draw their information from Bible and personal revelations. Both sources are unreliable to say the least. But, using Christians' own main source (the Bible), hell is not described as a happy place. I don't know about you, but I don't like the prospects of settling down in a lake of fire.

No, I've understood much more about the story of Jesus' life and death than his unimpressive so-called sacrifice. Jesus Dieing was a sacrifice because Jesus was 100% sin free, he was the only person in the history of humanity to be 100% sin free. Not to mention the prophecies which had to be fulfilled. The Jews were destined to reject and kill their Messiah the first time he came to them because the prophecies said so. No bpdy really knows the reason but it was ultimately a good thing because Jesus dieing sin free bought a ticket for humanity back into God's presence.
AND if He experiences existence in terms of eternity then the pain of the cross would take no time at all by comparison. Sort of like if i accidentally touch the electric fence and the consequences for him were similarly insignificant.
If GOD knows everything and everything he is going to do then how can he get to a point were he is sorry about something he already did . . . like in Genesis chapter 6.
I now want the answer to both of those questions.

Jesus DID NOT feelt a pain, an enlightened person's soul is separated from his body so the pain feeling dos not touches the soul of that person , he feels it on the level of the body but that feeling does not influences the inner peace and joy of his soul. 2) How do we know anything about a supernatural deity? Christians draw their information from Bible and personal revelations. Both sources are unreliable to say the least. But, using Christians' own main source (the Bible), hell is not described as a happy place. I don't know about you, but I don't like the prospects of settling down in a lake of fire.

Saying we deserve eternal happiness for believing is in this context the same as saying we deserve eternal torment for not believing. You merely flipped the threat around so it sounds less morally bankrupt.

No, I've understood much more about the story of Jesus' life and death than his unimpressive so-called sacrifice. I was responding to WillBrick up there who waxed poetry about how much Jesus suffered for us and how God was just overwhelmingly loving for not wiping us off the face of the Earth. I responded with pointing out that people suffer worse than Jesus ever did, every single day. Also, people in general don't get to rule the universe when they die, unlike Jesus.

Jesus Dieing was a sacrifice because Jesus was 100% sin free, he was the only person in the history of humanity to be 100% sin free. Not to mention the prophecies which had to be fulfilled.
