Looking at the small-headed figurines I thought they looked like HAT STANDS, I collect vintage hats & recognize the shape. I think-maybe-special, religious masks were placed on them, now lost to history.

In any event, the question begs a deeper a look. Satan, however is called a fallen angel but there is no doubt he's a male.

No, it is not. Most, if not all of these pieces have come from private collections.
No matter your ideology, these pieces have been preserved for all of us and are readily available. That's what's most important.
Regarding the unjust war on Iraq, what can a citizen of nation that commits an atrocity like this say? Sorry doesn't cut it. Sadly, maybe nothing will.
There is also a great show now through March titled, "Beyond Babylon" which is a real treat. The exhibit also contains many artifacts recovered from a bronze age shipwreck as well as many other incredible items. Go to the Met website for some photos.
