@emscolt he let her go, If he'd wanted to he could've really snapped her neck. In Dark Lord The Rise of Darth Vader it explains Vaders pain and anguish and said from vaders thoughts quote "If not for events on Mustafar, he would sit on the Coruscant throne, his wife by his side, their child in her arms."

My favorite part -- Anakin giving Padmé the japor snippet in Episode 1, then the post-nightmare scene in Episode 3, then Padmé's funeral, then Luke lighting his father's funeral pyre...love it, love it, love it!!

Evanescence unwittingly wrote the soundtrack to Anakin and Padmé's romance. Their songs are included in "Daredevil," aka the movie which featured then-future spouses Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, but IMO they suit A/P far more.

I think that Anikin still missed Padmé when he was alive as Vader deep down inside. I kinda feel sorry for Anikin in a way, oh by the way when movie order or book order is backwards it's called a prequel, so basically Star Wars is a prequel.
