i own fatal fury 1 and 2 for the genesis, had them since i was like 6, they are amazing games, i also have fatal fury 1 for snes, and it's a whole lot different, the genesis knew how to make a fighting game, great music, smooth graphics, good combos, and great controls, i always found it funny how mai's body was so jiggly xD

Agreed!! And I hate to say this, but game play wise, the Sega Genesis version had much better fighting system.. The combos were so much easier to use and the command mapping was alot smoother!!

@rumbazz The Genesis version had better controls compared to the SNK Neo Geo version.. Not one Fatal Fury game or port with the exception of Garou, had good control mapping.. It was off.. So what was the point of this comment. You say that the genesis port of FF2 had superior controls to the MVS version, but then you say all Fatal Fury games that were ported to consoles had bad mapping. Also, by "garou" you prolly meant "MOW" but since Fatal Fury is Garou Densetsu, I'm going to assume that you meant the whole series. So why would you say that no Fatal Fury game had good mapping, even though you said Garou. FF3 was good, same with RB. Also, I unno what LD. Must be crazy slang.

Many of them did in fact have bad mapping even to the King Of Fighters games.. Garou, Mark of The Wolves, and RB were indeed good games! I am not taking that from you, but FF2 had bad controls..
