  • so it's a microsoft chromebook?

  • Why does the dog have a massive dong?

  • How much days my windows phone would download my 500GB film collection ftom server and how much I would pay for it?

  • Do any of the folks below even understand what Desktop Virtualization is? And why does every conversation involving Msft have to degenerate into name calling? The mention of Google/Apple/Facebook/Skype below is totally irrelevant; the major players in the Desktop Virt space are Citrix, VMWare, and Microsoft to a lesser extent.

  • We have the same options on linux ^_^

  • @JohnPortfolio2010 good for you - following role models is a good thing.

  • where's this desktop virtualization on win7?

  • @paulkn6 i think its just a buissness special thingy

  • So will we see this implemeted in windows 8? i hope its not relied on to heavily though or it will end up like Google Chrome.

  • Microsoft, even though I'm on Apple products, I have faith in you too. You're great. Keep up the great work! :D

  • So, how do we get desktop virtualization?

Anyway, its quite awkward that I'm watching this on an Apple product with another Apple product connected to it. But keep up the good work, Microsoft! I didn't give up hope on you.

  • Microsoft Windows 7, Take that Apple!

  • Time for windows F*** you apple

  • The video was was easy to understand--I'm guessing that WIN 7 is very realiable..where previously..people may have been afraid to use such a thing.

  • Dudes, I was like calling it minimally invasive brain surgery when I hook up the machine.

  • Microsoft is blowing cloud out of the water, they pretty much just took cloud, made it better, more convenient, and more accessible, not to mention reliable. And yes of course the fact that they purchased Skype helps them. Besides what would Skype be anymore if it fell into the hands of Apple? Apple would not think twice about making you pay for it. Keep up the good work Microsoft, i'm very excited to see how this will play out.

  • @onesneakyhippo Apple wasn't interested in Skype, dumbass. That would be Facebook and Google.

  • I still have no idea what the heck this is and how to set it up.

  • With growing competition, such as google chromebooks, microsoft is slowly evaporating. Should of kept that 8.5 Billion dollars from buying skype and use it towards research and development instead. Focus more on the dying Desktop OS and Mobile OS. There are less and less Microsoft brands on the shelves.

  • @irwin770 You certainly don't understand. Buying Skype is what will help it get back into the game of desktop and mobile by giving them access to 170 million connected users. "Slowly evaporating" is quite a sad way of describing Microsoft. Microsoft sold 350 MILLION Windows 7 licenses in just one and a half year. They are just getting started.

  • @Maholain That may be true. However, in contrast to revenue and share, Microsoft has not earned that well compared to other companies such as Apple.

The value of share for Microsoft has not changed for 10 years. With todays market, you rarely hear anything from Microsoft in terms of new product releases. In fact, most reviewers in Youtube and the tech blogs have been focused on new Android phones and rumours for the next iPhone.

Honestly, I don't see microsft do anything innovative with Skype

  • @irwin770 However, as Microsoft is mainly in the business of selling software, they make more profit on less revenue. While the share of Microsoft has not changed, this may be a good thing as it was already quite high. It's noticeable that reviewers have not focused on Microsoft lately because their releases are sort of slow. Hopefully this will change this/next year when Nokia picks up WP7.

  • 3 people are mac fags who don't understand virtualisations

  • @Nocturnox65 if you were attempting to use the word "fag" as an insult, it didnt work hun. should have tried to use "Nocturnox65" instead.

  • @Nocturnox65 @theandyandsamyshow I agree. No need for anti-mac stuff here or for any of that language at all.

  • @Nocturnox65 Sexual orientation has nothing to do... ;( MAC users are just stupid, heh... ;)

  • @Nocturnox65 i like what you mean but not the usage of the word - fag...

  • @Nocturnox65 8 people

  • I'm happy that MS is finally jumping on the Cloud services band wagon.

  • @baronobeandip2007 not fully cloud based

  • @obc993 Aware, more of a local cloud.

  • This is why businesses use Microsoft and not Ubuntu or Mac. Sure they have their own solutions, but they are less bulletproof (not that MS is totally bulletproof)

  • I'm 12... why am I watching this?

  • @JellyTheDonut12 I don't know. You tell me.

  • @JellyTheDonut12 12 year olds don't use apostrophes. Don't be ridiculous.

  • @zephyr4813 Smart ones do.

  • whats WXOP?

  • @Ioganstone its windows excel, word, powerpoint and outlook, noob!

  • Sorry guys, I love Windows, but this video look like made by Google to explain Chrome OS.

  • @LMCSistemasVideos If you don't know shit then don't post.

  • @LMCSistemasVideos Personally, I think Microsoft are trying to say that this technology has been around for a while. This though is not ideal for consumers :-P

  • @windows7blogger Agree.

  • @LMCSistemasVideos it's nothing like chrome os, you don't even know what you're talking about

  • @EmoticonMayhem I know "it's nothing like chrome os", READ before REPLY. I say: "look like", no "is just the same".

  • @LMCSistemasVideos then your comment makes no sense, how does this look like that?

  • @LMCSistemasVideos I still don't get what you're trying to say

  • third! :D
