I'm so glad that you decided to post these again- as you once had them at your previous YouTube site. This instrument is a delight for it's ability to summon up ghosts, and this maker has a great god-given self-developed talent for being able to tune land- and soulscapes into the wood of an instrument. A sublime post... but then, your entire site is an exercise in daily sublimity. Le ringrazio mille volte!!!!
@Totma11 This is not the same as the one on my previous channel: my old video was played by Sigiswald Kuijken. This is played by Dmitry Badiarov himself, the one that rediscovered and rebuilt this lost instrument (now played by many, including Kuijken).
@ALRAesurrection I see. Well, I do remember that you introduced me to Dmitri's playing in some form or another, as this sound and style was immediately familiar to me today. Crazy that such a divinely demonic instrument such as this could get lost in the shuffle of things!
