I appreciate the Chicago news opens.  It reminds me of the old days

The anchors in one of those WJLA clips dale solly and danita Harris worked in or are currently working in the Cleveland area I know Danita currently anchors the 5 and 11pm newscasts at WEWS and dale worked as a reporter at WJW/WJKW and at WKYC in the 1980s

@dinfg6 Dunphy was still at KNXT-TV at the time. Not long after he'd be unceremoniously dumped by the station, and would be quickly hired by KABC.

@NewsActive3 Hambrick Later went to KRON4, WNBC, Cleveland, Miami and what other market was he in?

@dinfg6 - Actually, the Hambrick that worked in those stations was John (the Cleveland station he worked in, prior to coming to KABC, was WEWS). On this clip, it was his brother Judd Hambrick, who later worked at two Cleveland stations - WJKW (once and future WJW) and WKYC (two stints at the latter). Oh, and the opening announcer was the late Len Beardsley.

@dinfg6 I do know sometime in 1977-1979 John Hambrick and Judd Hambrick did compete against each other in San Francisco. John on KRON4 and Judd on KTVU.
