we played the song and sorry it wasn't the intro, it was the end of the song after all other singing and istruments stopped at 4:30 . Perfect! The timing was right and so beautiful! So dramtic when I walked on the platform and turned to my husband exactly when the music stopped. Still makes my heart swell. Everyone from old to young , christian to athiest asked where I had gotten the music. Black Crows are exceptional and will forever be in my heart

im str8 hip hop. but when i heard the crowes back in 96, my soul united with their music. This didnt happen really until i was using extacy, and i bought' shake ur money maker.' 2 mo after that i could not stop listening to She talks to Angels. 2 mo after that i understood the song was about me. And people like me. Addicts. Their muzik is great for healin the soul. I still struggle with my addictions, and im still rockin wit 'the Crowes'. The Black Crowes, yeah, i like that......blackLIKEme..

1.)theres a version of this song on an album called "The Lost Crowes Disc 2" which is a lot better, in terms of the vocals and slide guitar.

The original title was 'Descender'... At least that's what it says on the CD cover... Subsequent printings it was changed to 'Descending'..

@kaptkarl actually i was so trashed when i posted this that i lied...it was the last part of the song with the piano and it actually lasted long enough for my brides maid and me and my father to to walk down the isle. it was 5 years ago and i still get tingles down my spine every time i hear it. The song we danced to was "call me a dog" by temple of the dog. You should check it out. Great songs Love it!
