@streetpunk83 yeah i like ford but my only complaint is im the least comfortable in one out of the big 3. the seat in relation to where the dash is, it makes me feel like im sitting all out of wack. the dash is angled too low and its too close to my shins. i tried to drive my aunts mariner which is just a fancy escape and the bottom edge of the dash was in the way no matter how i adjusted. i kept hitting my shins. im not real big at 6'2 215lbs but i need room. f150 is better but not much.

there is no comparison between the raptor and this truck they are both great trucks and serve different purposes the raptor is for baja racing type, and jumping sand dune and that sort of stuff this truck is HEAVY duty so its more for hauling, and going in the mud, and going in more hardcore off-road areas when you need to get a camper somewhere maybe. the guy even said its more for slow rock crawling

The torque is definitely going to help make up for the extra weight, but it will still feel like a heavier truck. I think this truck is much better for towing, but maybe not offroad when compared to the raptor. Still, it's definitely a BEAST

This is an original truck. Its the only off road inspired truck with a diesel powerplant. No other truck offers that. Ford's only option in the Raptor is the 6.2, Dodges's the only option in the Power Wagon is the 5.7 Hemi.

Possibly a little competition for the raptor, but like he said this truck isn't geared specifically for high speed desert terrain where you need long travel suspension. It's a great combo of styling, performance and practicality. I'm so glad manufacturers are coming out with these type of trucks so customers don't have to spend $5 grand and up on lift kits, wheels and tires etc......

there is no comparison between the raptor and this truck they are both great trucks and serve different purposes the raptor is for baja racing type, and jumping sand dune and that sort of stuff this truck is HEAVY duty so its more for hauling, and going in the mud, and going in more hardcore off-road areas when you need to get a camper somewhere maybe. the guy even said its more for slow rock crawling

@CDxTWal It may have less hp at 390, but it's got over 700 ft-lbs of torque. If you put these trucks side by side on the street, the GMC will win all day. Offroad? The torque is definitely going to help make up for the extra weight, but it will still feel like a heavier truck. I think this truck is much better for towing, but maybe not offroad when compared to the raptor. Still, it's definitely a BEAST

It's a rocky/rough terrain vehicle with heavy duty towing capacity, both of which it will do better than the raptor. This is an original truck. Its the only off road inspired truck with a diesel powerplant. No other truck offers that. Ford's only option in the Raptor is the 6.2, Dodges's the only option in the Power Wagon is the 5.7 Hemi.

Possibly a little competition for the raptor, but like he said this truck isn't geared specifically for high speed desert terrain where you need long travel suspension. It's a great combo of styling, performance and practicality. I'm so glad manufacturers are coming out with these type of trucks so customers don't have to spend $5 grand and up on lift kits, wheels and tires etc......
