Taxesr AREN'T theft and are neccesary to FAIRLY pay for things we ALL want and need. The problem is not the taxation, but how it's collected. The richest people have means to avoid paying their share, while the working class has no such escape. They produce NOTHING (Ok, drugs, weapons and oil) yet CONSUME almost all the wealth. Go figure the economy sucks when only 2% of it's money is in actual circulation.

@pogularocky The depression was caused when the difference between the "haves" and the "have nots" became too great. Just like today with 1-2% of the population controlling 98% of the wealth. The economy is nothing but "moneny moving around". When more and more of that money sits in the hands of a tiny fraction of the population, there is less to "move around". Taxes are neccesary to get money to pay for things we ALL need, like national DEFENSE or public education.
You have an over-simplified understanding of American Monetary History. Please, use the local public library and read up on the Great Depression. There are several amazing books written by major Economists of the early 20th Century on what caused the Depression and how the Government did the exact opposite to what really was needed, thanks to intense lobbying by big banks back then!

I already told you, that I agree with you on the problems. I never said there is no disparity in economic distribution in our country. What I am debating here is the reasons behing it. They also get much of their income throigh "capital gains" (read More money) for which they only OWE 15%. Taxesr AREN'T theft and are neccesary to FAIRLY pay for things we ALL want and need. The problem is not the taxation, but how it's collected. The richest people have means to avoid paying their share, while the working class has no such escape. They produce NOTHING (Ok, drugs, weapons and oil) yet CONSUME almost all the wealth. Go figure the economy sucks when only 2% of it's money is in actual circulation.

American Government already had the world's best infrastructure by 1913, when income tax was introduced to pay for new federal programs being introduced (beyond the constitutional permits).
If our great grand fathers were able to built the world's best nation without income taxes, why are we incapable of doing so? Put Federal Government in its right size and place, and we do not need an income tax to afford it!

@pogularocky The depression was caused when the difference between the "haves" and the "have nots" became too great. Just like today with 1-2% of the population controlling 98% of the wealth. The economy is nothing but "moneny moving around". When more and more of that money sits in the hands of a tiny fraction of the population, there is less to "move around". Taxes are neccesary to get money to pay for things we ALL need, like national DEFENSE or public education.

You have an over-simplified understanding of American Monetary History. Please, use the local public library and read up on the Great Depression. There are several amazing books written by major Economists of the early 20th Century on what caused the Depression and how the Government did the exact opposite to what really was needed, thanks to intense lobbying by big banks back then!
I agree with you on th problems we face, but not on the reasons we have them.

@larsiemannen The richest 2% may OWE that much, but after deductions and loopholes they seldom PAY it, which is the discussiin in DC right now. They also get much of their income throigh "capital gains" (read More money) for which they only OWE 15%. And few CEO's got there because of "hard labor" they either inherited theor money (Trump) or were just handed a sweet job the rest of us have no shot at. They want to cut taxes for themselves, and THEN cut SS and Medicare to pay for it.

It's not allowed to print your own money, nor is it allowed to use another currency than the govt. legal tender. It's false that those 2% don't do anything. They are strategist of their own money and invest in project which makes work available. Remove those 2% and you'll see a much, much more broker community until other takes the place as those 2%.

Rachel Maddow was reportedly seen 'humping' a seat arm on the train while in New York for a brief holiday. She had taken XTC (witnesses said) and she found the movement of the train exciting-so much so in fact that she actually soiled her panty and uncontrollably had bowel movements while writhing back and forth on the seat edge.
This all became too clear when at one point she fell over due to the shifting of the car and the fecal matter smeared in her crouch leg & the floor became visible.

If nothing else, get that right. A few other corrections: hypocrisy, followers, hurricane. Oddly enough, you spelled Nashville correctly. In fact, I WAS a republican because of issues like abortion because I was mislead into believing the GOP cared about these issues. Turns out, it was a complete lie. Did you know that when Roe v Wade was voted on that 7 of the 9 supreme court justices were republican, and that 5 of them ruled to make abortion legal (only one of the dems voted to make it legal)?

The most recent being February 22, 2005 when Norma McCorvey (better known as "Roe") herself tried to get the ruling overturned because she is now a pro-life advocate. The republicans had the white house (W. Bush), the house, the senate, AND a 7/9 majority in the supreme court and they rejected her appeal.
