Ok, I've listened to three versions: by Johny Dorelly, Mina and Sofia Rotaru.

Mina's version is really fade and did not leave any impression at all.

Johny Dorelli's version is nice.

But the nicest and the one I have just doscovered is this one, the one of Sofia Rotaru - there is much passion and tension in her voice, this really does not compare to other half singers compare to her!

first one should be pleased that she chose to sing an Italian song in the original even though her pronunciation is quite bad.

soon afterwards one should comment the arrangement, one of the worst piece of s..t ever heard anytime.

third a good high note held at the end won't erase the impression of all those undue breaths taken everywhere, even halway through a word nor the throaty low notes.

You are welcome! Honestly, Mina has a nice version, but Sofia has the unsurpassed richess, strength and depth of voice. I will post soon a recent video of Sofia's life performance of Immensita in Ukrainian.

Interesting voice. There is an even "stronger" recording by Milva that combines the passion of Don Backy and the superb control of Johnny Dorelli, added to Milva's other unique qualities.

Thank you. I could not find anything with Milva. Could you give me the link may be? The passion is namely in Sofia Rotaru's dramatic deeply reach voice, that's why I called it strongest.

Hello, BabkaP. I haven't found a link, either. I heard Milva's version over 20 years ago (!) on an old Italian cassette, so I'll have a look for it. If anyone else has Milva's version, we'd love to have it on YouTube. I see what you mean by "strongest". I'll listen in to more of Sofia's performances.

@BabkaParaska You can easily find the link of Milva's version now on you tube. Her version was a big success in Europe, Japan and South America in the sixties.. Sofia is a great singer and I love hear 70's albums but this interpretation of the song is weak because of the poor music arrangements..
