I call them flip flops, sandals, or chanclas when I'm with my spanish speaking family. Never thongs though.

I call them flip-flops. I have heard them called thongs, a long time ago. Never knew they were called jandals. Who calls them jandals? Odd.

They are thongs in the UK, or Flip flops but flip flops normally mean without the in-between the toe torture devise.
