Dealing with a shedding Malamute

What a good boy!!seems malamute is bigger than husky! I love bigger type！BTWif you use vacuum machine，　will it be stuck with the excessive fur?

I have a wolfdog that inherited the Malamute coat... when she blows her coat there's fluff in everything I do!

You know, I wonder how huskies and malamutes would do with neat freaks (not that I am a need freak btw)? Imagine them jumping on furniture and getting fur everywhere.

My Mal runs a mile when she even hears the vacuum being picked up off the floor before i have even plugged it in to the wall. Doesn't help that she hates being brushed too... my house constantly looks like its been snowing mal fur!!!

What a nice Mal you have.... wish I could do the same with mine, he starts howling, jumping, and eventually flees every time I try to vacuum him.

im the same as tyrant 1505, My 14 month old Mal either runs and hides or goes mad when she sees any sight of the hoover!! Beautiful well trained mal you have there though. how old is it?

My Mal would go absolutley bananas, she HATES the hoover!! Lawnmower etc etc is fine, she just hates the hoover.

Try letting her sleep outdoors. It helped with my malamute. If they are in all the time they can't follow the seasons temperature I guess.
