@ILikeMakeup22 You probably have V 1.1. That version isn't rare, and it has the chants and red blood. Also, all three N64 versions have the crescent moon designs; that wasn't changed until the Gamecube re-release.

A way to verify if you truly have V1.0 is to try the original swordless Link glitch: when Ganon knocks away the Master Sword in the Final Battle, you save and reset. If there's no sword on the B button when you resume that file, then yeah, you have the rare, grey 1.0 cart.

I TRIED the sword glitch, where you save and quit after Ganon knocks your sword away, but it didn't seem to work, maybe i did it wrong though.

@perun1nj They are indented into the label on the back of your cart would be two digit number. if there is an A after the 2 digits then its v1.1, B is v1.2. just 2 digits will mean it is a v1.0

No. Wii store OoT saves will not work with this injected WAD, and vice versa. They're separate games.

V1.0(mostly gold, Grey) the game is at it's purest

V1.1(grey or Gold) Glitches were fixed but everything else remained the same

V1.2(grey) The fire temple music was remixed, Ganondorf's blood is now green instead of red

GameCube OoT and OoT master quest: It's pretty much V1.2 but the Mirror shield, and Block emblem are changed (only in OoT Master quest are the dungeons are change so there are differently layed out)

Actually, the VC version is 2.0, the same as the GameCube port.

Both the VC and GCN OoT are just altered versions of v1.2 N64 (GCN OoT has new shield design + button HUD swaps to match the GCN controller buttons, and VC OoT just has the new shield design with original button HUD). Outside of those differences, VC has poorer controls than GCN (L and R buttons have to be pressed all the way down to register) and it doesn't support a rumble feature.

So we just call them v1.2 GCN and v1.2 VC. There is no 2.0.

Early N64 -preorder copies of the game are complete with red blood, ect, but the later ones you can not do some stuff but they are more solid and have no bugs (i don`t mean the bottle ones) at all. But if you must chose, then go for early version because the is no cencorship. Similarry, situation is the same with many more games including Little Big Planet.

I'm Muslim, I really only took offense to the fact that you have to STEP on the Pakistani flag (on the buttons), but that's not really religious. The Islamic chant at the Fire Temple is the Azaan, or call for prayer, and I thought it was really cool that the call for prayer was BGM for a game...especially Zelda.

Apparently they had to remove that stuff because Muslims (such as myself) took offense to that stuff, I mean WTF. I thought it was cool.

@aleckermit Oups sorry! I've just played it to verify and the symbols are there. The blood is green, there's no blood on the walls of the shadow temple and of the well, and the chanting isn't there. I hope the 3DS version will be like the 1.1 version even if I highly doubt it..

Like the European version of SMRPG, that game warns that it will use 60hz by default, maybe to avoid this refresh rate problem your wad could do the same?

Filesize is .1 MB larger than I would've expected. Nonetheless this works great except for some sound glitches (which are in the Master Quest game as well, so I'm guessing that's Nintendo's Fault).
