trouble is i'v been playing playstation since the first console and all my friends have a ps3 so switching means they have to get the game on pc too but ill loose all my trophies and achievements.
Well the PS3 footage really does not look that much better than MW2 to me, and it's dissapointing that the multiplayer is only 24 players on consoles. These 2 facts may result in me getting MW3 for the still good-looking and extremely smooth gameplay.
@gamer4ever77 Well,it has more players,bigger maps and destruction.There are also hardware limitations - the consoles run on 5-6 year old hardware.I still don't get it how can people ask of 64 players on consoles.I know they want the same version,but in this case that's not possible.I woudn't worry if I were you - the console versions will be awesome.And I'm just glad the PC gamers are finally getting some attention from the devs. :)

@tazss159 PC is just better, get the point. Why? Its like an console but with much more better hardware in it. You can even use the ps3 or xbox360 controller on PC's if you want too, but a mouse is more precise. PC has superior details, also at distance. And since its much more powerful, you can do 64 players maps. Plus no lag, also 60 Frames per second instead of 30. Meaning smoother gameplay. You have to see the PC version in real, you'll notice it in no time that its definitely better.
Ugh, I'm not much of a fan of holographic sight, ACOG should be in the game of course, lol. I just hope Battlefield 3 will be amazing since I pre ordered it :D

Battlefield 3 is going to look incredible on the PS3. This was also off-screen footage, and alpha stage. But, im going to get BF3 for both PC because of the amazing graphics, and ALSO for the PS3 to play with friends. Nothing beats playing together on one screen while passing the controller every death :)
@pampampiro I also hope that DICE makes good use of MLAA (Morphological Anti-Aliasing) in BF3. Look at the results of MLAA in God of war 3, no aliasing on anything. I have read somewhere that if MLAA is utilized correctly, it can be compared to 16x AA. Which is mostly proven by God of war 3. But of course, this is in alpha stage, and they got 3-4 months for polish. Cannot wait for this game!

Sadly I have more pressing matters with my money. So the PS3 version it is then. I don't know if my Dell Inspirion PC can be upgraded otherwise I would choose the latter. At this point, I just want that freakin' ACOG scope in the ps3 version!
I guess by the fact the develops chose reflex for ps3 beside the scope in pc
shows that they were put more detail in pc since scopes take long time to develop and consider all the details while reflex sight is more of a extensive cross hair

@mckevstah1 PC gamers are getting constantly screwed by developers with simplified games,horrible console ports,delays etc. And when a game that's made for PC is coming out,you say that DICE are biased?PC gamers don't deserve a good game,just because you have a console? Please understand,that the consoles have hardware that's 5-6 YEARS OLD.I'd say that BF3 looks pretty good when you know that pretty much everything in the game can be destroyed.
@mckevstah1 Considering the ps3's hardware be thankful for what you've got. Also, it's 64 players and that is as much a match making service problem as a hardware performance issue. Keep in mind mag was set out very differently and didn't have destruction and such.
