USA played a tough game today (06.28.09) against Brazil. You changed the respect of the world. Keep stepping up the game. You should be proud the be 2nd. Soon to take the world in the near future.

It is unfortunate how weak the support is in the US for the national soccer team. The crowd at Soldier Field for the Honduras game seemed to be 80% for Honduras. It really was like a home game for Honduras. With all the youth soccer programs around, in Chicago and elsewhere, I find it baffling that there is not a more significant fan base.

The stadium was just over 55,000. The second highest US game attendance in MNT history. The US is getting better every year. It will not be long until the US wins a World Cup.
It amazes me on the lack of attention to this sport in this country. Football/Soccer/Futbol is the most played sport in the world, brings the world together & one of the longest played sports in the world. Hello America come join in on this sport.
